When you love someone, no amount of time together feels like enough, but I'm forever grateful for the years I had with my grandma, especially the last few. I will cherish and find comfort in the memories—until we meet again.

My deepest condolences go out to Parrish, Marc, Erin, & Kendra. A large portion of my childhood was spent with this family and they treated me like one of their own. I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I have a lot of fond memories of my time spent with your family and I think of you all often on my return trips to Preston County. May God bless you and your families during this difficult time

I was very sad to hear about my Aunt Katy’s passing. She was a character and always made us laugh! Rest assured, she is now with my Dad (her brother Paul Lattanzi) and I am sure he is teasing her like he always did!
Love to you always.

Most of my memories of Aunt Katy are from my childhood--she was spunky and funny. As I got older, I appreciated the way she kept her brothers and sisters connected. Katy always had the news. When my children were born, she brought our cousin Jordan to my mom's house to see the new babies. When my dad passed away, she regularly called my Mom. She was also incredibly kind to our neighbor, Sissy, sending her cards and small gifts.
Katy was always larger than life--everyone has a story about her. She'll be missed by many, and live on in our memories.

I am saddened with the passing of my sister-in-law Katy. You always knew you would get a birthday card as she never forgot my birthday and other important dates.
Rest In Peace Katy. You will be missed by so many.

It is with great sadness that I heard of the death of my beloved sister, Katy. I have fond memories growing up with her in Bretz. She was a tomboy in the truest sense and could hold her own with my friends, particularly when we played basketball. I can remember when Everett drove down from Kingwood to woo her. They would sit in the car next to the Zinn's house and you could hear their laughter many homes around. Deepest sympathy to all of her kin. She will be greatly missed. Frank Lattanzi

I am sad to hear the news that Aunt Katy has passed. I have so many fond memories of her. She was the “switchboard” for the family - all family news went through her, and she’d put her personal spin on it. I mean this in the kindest way. Aunt Katy kept everyone connected. I guess you could say she was the hub of the family, and she was loved for it.
Aunt Katy and I didn’t speak a lot towards the end, but I suspect it was because she wanted to save up all of her strength to have her near-daily phone calls with her sister, my mom Dianna. I will miss getting family recipes from her through Sean, but I have the two best ones - Uncle Paul’s red sauce and Aunt Katy’s Easter Bread. I will also miss her West Virginia drawl that always made me smile when I heard it. It’s sad to realize that I will never hear it again.
Rest well, Aunt Katy. Tell Aunt Lenora and Uncle Paul we send our love, and we still miss them.
To my Uncle Frank, my cousins and their families - I’m sorry we can’t be there with you, but please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. ❤️
With Love,
Heather, Jack and Josh
