Even though the distance between us is great and I haven't been able to spend much time with you in the recent years, I have always felt as though I was a part of your family. Nanny always made me feel welcome and like I fit right in. I feel her loss all these miles away and want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Lottie was a beautiful and strong lady. I hope my daughters can display many of the tributes that their Nanny had. I will miss you.

Toots and family, We are so sorry to hear about Lottie. She was a beautiful lady and a wonderful friend to mom. Her and mom are probably talking about old times right now. I'm sure she will be missed by all!! You will be in our prayers.

My Nannie was the sweetest woman, and I can only wish to have half as much strength as she had. She is greatly missed and loved.

When we were young, Nanny use to keep toys for us to play with. She found a cowboy cabbage patch boy with a hors. I fell in love with it!! And she let me take it home. I was so excited.
I love you Nan. We will meet again. <3

I am sharing this story for Lisa Hawkins, I am her sister in law. I remember the first time I met Lisa's "Nan" She was living in Masontown in her apartment. When we walked through the door, the first I saw was her little white malteese, I believe his name was Peppy. She really loved that dog, he was her baby. "Nan" was sitting on her couch with two bowls and one small bag of Pedigree dog food. I watched and wondered what she was doing. As Lisa was talking with her, she continued to seperate the two kinds of pellets from the bag. I asked her why she was picking out all the little bones from the bag and she ever so calmly looked up at me and said, "Peppy only likes the little bones".....I knew from that moment she was a kind soul with a great big heart. She was always very soft spoken and gentle with her words, truly a classy lady!
