Zion UMC Church Burial location: Mt. Zion Cemetery Notes: Sally Virginia Greathouse, age 83, of Masontown died Saturday September 27, 2008 at her home. She was born March 10, 1925 in Masontown, a daughter of the late James and Florence Arnold Wolfe. Sally retired from Sterling Faucet Company after 29 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter and spouse, Hazel and Calvin Wolfe; three sons and spouses, Ronald and Phyllis Greathouse Jr., Daniel and Mary Greathouse, and Carlos and Charlotte Greathouse, all of Masontown; eleven grandchildren, April Greathouse, Holly Cress, Skip Greathouse, Jeff Greathouse, Tammy Chipps, Sally (Jenny) Greathouse, Daniel Greathouse, Doug Greathouse, Ricky Wolfe, Sheila Golden, and Robin Blaney; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother and spouse, Dewey and Lorraine Wolfe of Masontown; and her dog companion, Paws. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Ronald Greathouse Sr.; eleven brothers and sisters; and a grandson, Kenneth Wolfe. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday September 29, 2008 from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday September 30, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Wednesday October 1, 2008 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church from noon until the 1 p.m. service time with the Rev. Dayton Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
