Obituary of Charles W Tasker

Charles "Charlie" W. Tasker, Sr., 91, of Kingwood, WV, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. He was born in Oakland, MD, on August 8, 1931, a son of the late Noah S. and Cora M. (Baker) Tasker. Charlie loved his family and spending time with them when they came to visit. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going for rides in the country. He spent a lot of time at home watching Westerns, especially John Wayne. Charlie will be greatly missed. Charlie is survived by a son, Charles W. Tasker Jr, of Kingwood; six daughters, Marjorie Corley and husband Bill, Pamela Childs and husband Don, both of Hamilton, OH, Deborrah Dissmore and husband Jeff, of Great Cacapon, WV, Karen Carr and husband Jeff, of Petersburg, WV, Charlotte Kisamore and husband Roger, of Reedsville, Linda Cordwell and husband David of Maidsville, WV; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by eight brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren. Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home on Wednesday January 4, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday January 5, 2023 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am time of service with Rev.
