Joann Rose Dupont, 86, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Bretz, WV, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh.

She was born in Bretz, WV on June 23, 1936, a daughter of the late John P. and Irene (Giuliani) Dupont.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Dupont, her sister Ann Priore, and her brother-in-law Robert Priore.

Joann is survived by her sister, Frances Rydzak (Robert) of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.

She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. Joann was Catholic by faith. She was an avid WVU fan, especially football. Joann was a former employee of Greer Limestone Company and the Philippi Hospital.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 11 until 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Zita Catholic Church at 1 pm with Fr. Joy Raphal as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Masontown Cemetery.
