Obituary of Janetta Ann Waldo

Janetta (Ann) Waldo, 70, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born in Morgantown, WV on July 25, 1951, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Grace Janetta (Molisee) Lambert. Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked many years for Mountaineer Petroleum. She loved to cook, crochet and knit, as well as being in her garden. She also loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Michael Waldo of Buckhannon; two sons, Brad Waldo of Morgantown and Scott Waldo and wife Jennifer of Bruceton Mills; two grandchildren, Mackenzie, whom she loved to the moon and back, and Logan, whom she loved to Mars and back; three brothers and four sisters, Robert Lambert Jr. and wife Linda, Patricia Coulter, Sharon Weese and husband Narvel, Brenda Walters and husband Craig, Fred Lambert and wife Joyce, Jeffrey Lambert and wife Stephanie, Lisa Lambert and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she's preceded in death by one brother, John Lambert. To honor Ann's wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Field Funeral Home in Masontown is honored to serve the Waldo family. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
