Obituary of Shanna Deanne Wolfe

Shanna Deanne Wolfe, 37, of Masontown, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, following an illness, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Shanna was born in Morgantown, on May 24, 1984, a daughter of Steven Michael Whetsell and wife, Michelle of S.C. and Lou Ann (Frum)Prinkey of Masontown and her deceased husband, Barry Roy Prinkey.

Shanna loved music and playing softball but most of all she loved spending time with her children.

In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by her husband, Roy Wolfe of Morgantown; four children, Alexis Evans, Hoyt, Parker and Zayden Wolfe; four sisters: Jessica Rae Cole and husband, Steve, of Kingwood, Christina Noel Whetsell of Terra Alta, Samantha Joann Prinkey of Connellsville, PA, and Katie Elaine Prinkey of Beckley; grandmother, Shelia Frum, of Kingwood and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Amber Ranae Golden; grandfather, Dale Frum and grandparents, Foster and Pauline Whetsell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. To honor her wishes, she will be cremated. Field Funeral Home in Masontown is assisting the family with arrangements.
