Edna Gibson Viewing times: Thursday May 11 6-8 p.m.; Friday May 12 5-8 p.m. Funeral time: Saturday May13, 2006 1 p.m. Field Funeral Home Burial location: Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens Notes: Edna Lohr Gibson, age 98, of Kennedy Store Rd., Morgantown, died Wednesday May 10, 2006 at home. She was born January 18, 1908 in Preston County a daughter of the late John and Savilla Knotts Lohr. She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed quilting. She is survived by five stepchildren; Vida B. McCord of Morgantown, William H. Gibson, of Masontown Dennis and wife Kristi Gibson of Boulevard, CA, Juanita M. Moran of Masontown, and Virginia B. and husband Denzil Taylor; special niece, Joan McDonald, with whom she made her home; several other nieces and nephews; 16 step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her first husband, Barnes Hall on June 4, 1966; her second husband, Howard Gibson on February 7, 2000; six sisters, Cora Synder, Hattie Bolyard, Atces White, Chloe White, Georgia Mayfield, and Genie Rowan-McMillen; stepdaughter, Janet Gamble; one stepson; and one step granddaughter. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday May 11, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday May 12, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday May 13, 2006 from noon until the 1 p.m. service time. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
