Obituary of Joyce Jean Streets

Joyce Jean (Pratt) Streets, 76, of Morgantown, WV, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born in Tunnelton, WV on May 23, 1945, a daughter of the late Gerald and Grace (Larew) Pratt. 

Joyce was employed for many years at the Wendy’s in Sabraton. Many will remember her as the friendly person at the Wendy’s drive-thru window. Joyce was a wonderful cook and loved crocheting. She made many baby blankets for friends and relatives along with lap blankets which she donated to local nursing homes and the Children’s Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Streets and grandson Joseph Streets with whom she resided; a brother, Denzil Pratt and wife Karen of Newburg; sisters-in-law, Gloria Pratt of Morgantown and Barbara Hauger of Terra Alta; many nieces and nephews and her beloved bird, PJ.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved late husband, Harold Streets; brothers, Jack Larew and wife Patty, Jon Pratt and Charles Pratt.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, with Bishop Donald Poe officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery.
