Obituary of Deborah Sue Gibson
Deborah Sue "Snail" Gibson, 59, of Masontown, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Deborah was born in Morgantown, on April 5, 1961, a daughter of Wayne "Pete" Gamble of Masontown and the late Tessie Loretta (Cale) Gamble.
She was employed in the billing department at UHA in Morgantown and the Morgan Shirt Factory.
Deborah is survived by her former husband, Teddy Gibson of Morgantown; a brother, David Gamble of Masontown, WV; a sister, Loretta Hamrick and Bruce of Morgantown; two nephews, Christopher Hamrick and Bub Gibson; three nieces, Stephanie Buckley, Amber Gamble and Kaitlyn Gibson and several great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her niece, Christie M Hamrick.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1 - 2 p.m. Private family services to follow with Pastor Tim Heaney officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Gibson family.
