Obituary of Barbara Ann Long

Barbara Ann Long, 69, of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Barbara was born in Reedsville, WV on May 3, 1951, a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and the late Thelma May (Snyder) Lambert. She was a loving person that always had a smile on her face and will be dearly missed. She retired from the Morgan Shirt Factory after many years. She attended and later worked for the WV Junior College. Barbara is survived by a brother, Sonny Lambert and Shirley of Reedsville; two sisters, Rhonda Rohr and Harry of Morgantown and Norma Goldsborough and Dave of Reedsville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, that loved her very much. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 47 years, Rodger Long in 2017; two brothers, Melvin Lambert and Joe Michael Lambert and a sister, Evelyn Lambert. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 2 to 8 p.m. Private funeral services will be held at the funeral home with interment at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Masontown. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.
