Obituary of Monte Edwin Montgomery

Monte Edwin Montgomery, 48, of Tunnelton, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home. He was born in Landstuhl, Germany on July 29, 1972, a son of Edwin and Connie (Borgman) Montgomery of Tunnelton. He was employed by the City of Kingwood as a field supervisor for the Sewer Department. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping and Jeeping. In addition to his parents, Monte is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Nona (Hebb) Montgomery; a son, Troy McNeill of Tunnelton; a sister, Janette Piscitelli and Pete of Fairmont; a mother in-law, Kathryn “Kathy” Hebb; a brother in-law, Charles “Ted” Hebb III of Morgantown, a sister in-law, Kathryn “Kathy Jo” Fitzgerald of Reedsville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father in-law. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the services for Monte will be private. A public celebration of his life will be held at later date.
