Obituary of Raymond Earl Wolfe

Raymond E. Wolfe, 68, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at home. Raymond was born in Morgantown, on May 31, 1952, a son of the late Grant E. Wolfe and the late Goldie Bell Goodwin. He enjoyed hunting, front porch sitting, playing guitar and was an avid Mountaineer fan. Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Melodee Kay (Adams) Rehe-Wolfe; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and his furbaby, Fritzie/Spark Plug, all whom he loved dearly. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 10 am until the 2pm service time with Chaplain Wendy Browne officiating. A private graveside service will be held in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the Wolfe family.
