Obituary of Lynne N Lambert

Lynne Noreen Lambert, 75, of Reedsville, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, after a long battle with COPD. Lynne was born in Brooklyn, NY, on November 18, 1944, a daughter of the late William R. and Mabel Lillian (Jenson) Christopher. Lynne has always had a big heart. She was kind to everyone she ever met. She was a Christian that loved her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed Sunday services at the Mill Chapel United Brethren in Christ Church. She was a hard worker and was employed by WVU for 26 years. Lynne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her granddaughter, Anaya, with whom she spent several hours playing dolls, games and helping to homeschool. She also enjoyed home cooked meals, chocolate ice cream (which she ate daily) and listening to Keith Urban. She is loved dearly by family and will be forever missed. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta (Lori) Lambert and her husband Anthony of Reedsville; a granddaughter (and very best friend) Anaya O'Neill of Reedsville; a sister, Joyce Plaugher of Mt. Solon, VA; four step-children, Lawrence "Larry" Lambert Jr. of SC, Linda Lambert, Laura Lambert and Leonard Lambert all of Staten Island, NY; three sisters in law, Sharon Dunn and husband "Buck" of Morgantown, Joyce "Sissy" Roberts and husband Frank, Donna Steele and husband Clyde all of Ohio; two brothers in law, Bill Lambert and wife Kathy of Ohio and Mark Lambert and Donna of Masontown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence "Sonny" E. Lambert on August 18, 2010 and a brother, William R. Christopher of New Jersey. Due to this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic we will have a private family graveside service at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Pastor David Kisamore officiating. A public celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The family realizes Lynne was loved by many and look forward to reading the condolences left on the Field Funeral Home website at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
