I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved talking to him on the phone when he called and listening to him laugh. He was the last of that generation and so goes the stories with it. Until we all meet again...Love you Uncle Harry.

Harry was definitely one of a kind! Always a gentleman, excellent manners, a kind, gentle soul. I have wonderful memories made with Harry and my special group at Pineridge. He loved to tell us stories of "back in the day" . We all laughed and snacked together, enjoying the fine company that we were in. I know he is at peace and happy to be with Myrna. He missed her so. Harry left this world a better place! I will miss him as will so many others.

Harry will be missed. He always had a smile and a Hello for everyone he met. It was a honor to care for him. Harry was there at Pine Ridge only a short time, but his charm will not be forgotten. I loved Merna and cared for her, also. I made sure she had her bubble-bath twice a week until I changed departments. Harry and Merna were very special to me. I send to this family, Heart Felt Sympathy and Prayers.

Bobby & Deb, I am sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Denkenberger, whiles we all have to experience the loss of a loved one, losing your Mom and Dad are the hardest. We may not always understand the will of God, but he knows all things. Your Father lived a long life, full of happiness, sadness, crying, and laughing. But his best years where when he watched as you grew into the man you are today Bobby, you are loved by more than you think. I will pray for you both, for this time to rest for your Father, you will see him again in Heaven without the sickness, or the pain. Remember he is walking on the streets Gold and having dinner with the Lord. God Bless you both and all the family.

During my mother's time at Pine Ridge I became friend with Harry and Myrna. We talked everyday. I would bring him cabbage and corned beef. My mom would not eat. She would tell the aides to give her food to Harry. One day I stopped in and he could not stay awake. I told him he needed to go to the hospital. That evening he was hospitalized. He remained weak but came back to the nursing home as soon as he was nearly able. That was the only time he did not come to the home . He was devoted to her. I saw him two weeks ago. He asked me to come back to see him. My mom died July 8, 2018. I told him I would be back July 8th. So sorry I missed saying goodbye. Harry became a very close friend. I will never forget our times talking about anything and everything. He would calm Myrna when she was weary. RIP my dear friend. God bless all that mourn Harry’s passing. JfE6e
