I’m so sorry for your recent loss. My deepest condolences to your family. Death of a loved one is never easy to endure, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Continue looking to God and you will always find comfort in him (2 Cor 1:3,4). He will soon destroy the enemy of death (1 Cor 15:26), and He will soon return our loved ones to us through the resurrection (John 5:28,29). Please visit JW.org and search “When Someone You Love Dies”, it helped me through some difficult times and I hope you can find comfort in it also.

To my wonderful mother-Thank you so much for believing in me and being so proud of me. I don’t know why God took you so soon. I prayed that you could stay with us more. I will miss you every day until we meet again. Love, Joe

Dear DeSantis Family,
We are truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. I remember Barbara from school. In an effort to console, some say God takes our loved ones in death. However, 1 Corinthians 15:26 refers to death as an “enemy of God that shall be destroyed”. Is it not true that Satan is the one who brought death on the human family? Happily, God will soon destroy death through the resurrection for John 5: 28,29 says “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth.” What happy reunions we will have then as we welcome back our dead loved ones such as Barbara. We hope these promises from God bring you comfort and hope.
