Obituary of Ellen Enlow

Ellen May Enlow, 88, of Portsmouth, VA formerly of Masontown, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Sang Run, MD on May 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Franklin Thomas and Sarah Jane Hoye Frantz. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Sundale Rest Home after many years of service as a nurses aide. She is survived by four daughters; Ruth Enlow of Portsmouth, VA., Sarah Gibson and husband Jeff of Burgettstown, PA., Elizabeth Enlow and companion Gary Smith of Morgantown, and Rebecca Friend and husband Victor Friend III of Newburg; four grandchildren; Victor Friend,Tyler Friend, James Bolyard and Daniel Bolyard; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Michael Bolyard. She was preceded in death by her husband,Bruce Gilbert Enlow; and one son Daniel Bruce Enlow. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday July 20, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday July 21, 2011 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time with the Pastor Marshall Woods officiating.
