Obituary of Eleanor Virginia Taylor

Eleanor Virginia Taylor, 86, of Masontown, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at home.

Eleanor was born in Aliquippa, PA on January 20, 1932, a daughter of the late Ernest Paul and Goldie Marie (Robinson) Lowdermilk.

She was employed by Morgan Shirt Factory, National Electric in PA, Youngstown Kitchen in OH, Patrick Electric GM Plant in Warren, OH, Mountainlair, Preston County School Board, retired from Mylan Pharmaceutical and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Masontown.

Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, canning, woodworking, quilting and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving son, Scott Taylor and companion, LaTosha Smith and her sons, Remington and Montgomery; two daughters, Opal Huggins and husband Jack and Donna Robinson and companion, Randy May; two brothers, Wade "Buck" Lowdermilk and wife, Libby and Richard Lowdermilk; two sisters, Lavona Gibson and Ilene Livengood and special brother in law, Bill; Special sister in law, Lois Hart; special friend Nellie Metheny; two grandchildren, Daniel Meadows and Shawn Meadows; four great grandchildren, Ivy, Isabella, Hunter and Nathan Meadows; two adopted great grandchildren, Levi and Ryan Fox and her loving dog, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Wade Taylor; a son Tommy Taylor; two grandchildren, Matthew Meadows and Noah/Grace Taylor; three brothers and spouses, Clyde "Warren" Lowdermilk and wife, Marquerite, Robert Lowdermilk and wives Marquerite and Alice, and Earnest Lowdermilk and wife Jean; a brother in law, Warren Gibson and a sister in law, Diane Lowdermilk.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 2 to 8 p.m and from 1pm until the 2 pm service time on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Field Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will be in Masontown Cemetery.
