The Lord has called upon his soldier to entrust the responsibilities of watching the Kingdom of Heaven. Buck, will be remembered by those with whom called him a friend and those that are family. I am sad that I was never able to meet him, but know that I would be proud to have met a wonderful man. To Kaitlin, Sheri and Ron, you and your family are in my prayers and are in my heart while I'm deployed. I wish I was there in this time of need. Love and miss all of y'all. With Love, Brandon.

A great General once said “Soldiers are some of God’s most noble people.” CSM Buck Taylor’s peers describe him as “a good man and a great Command Sergeant Major.” Both of these descriptions accurately describe my friend Buck. I know also that his family was his life. Farewell my friend. May you have a safe journey to “Fiddlers Green.” You will not be forgotten as long as we are alive.

Dear Mary Ann,
I am sincerely sorry for your loss. Buck was my first State Commander, and he was a by the book, hard charging, hard ass. Commander Taylor was also honest, and always looking out for the good of the veteran. He was a terrific leader and friend, Don Young

I was saddened to read about the passing of Sgt. Alan Taylor. His accomplishments in life were many as are reflected in his obit. I feel honored that I got to know him and got to observe first hand his many good qualities. It was obvious that he loved his Country that he so honorably served and he loved his family. Alan had the respect and admiration of my father-in- Law Charles Heater who served on several details with Alan in the VFW. Alan will be missed but not forgotten. Rest In Peace my friend. I’m sure that you are now in a better place. Ron Brown
