Obituary of Cynthia Renee Shaffer

Cynthia "Cindy" Renee Kitzmiller Shaffer, 47, of Reedsville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at her home. She was born in Morgantown on August 15, 1968, a daughter of the late David Kitzmiller and Judy K. Lantz Daft of Reedsville. Cindy was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a 1986 graduate of West Preston High School. She owned and operated "Cindy's Bar and Grill" in Fairmont. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand and will always be remembered for her contagious smile. In addition to her mother she is survived by a son, Nathan Savage and companion Nicole Peery of Reedsville; a daughter, Ashley Jenkins and husband Shane of Gladesville; three sisters, Christine Festa of Morgantown, Georgette Butler of LA, Shamron Vaeth and husband Bill of CA; and three brothers, Jimmy Daft of Independence, Michael Artel and wife Alice of Denver, CO and Lee Luzader and wife Tamara of NC; three grandchildren, Conner, Denise and Holden; several nieces and nephews and her special companion Todd Rohr of Fairmont. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her sister, Kyndra Daft. To honor Cindy's wishes a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
