Obituary of Fredrick Shaffer

Fredrick Neal Shaffer, II, (a.k.a. Camo,) 41, of Gladesville Community, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1974 in Colorado Springs, CO a son of Carol Nicholson of Independence and Fredrick Neal Shaffer of Masontown. In addition to his parents Fredrick is survived by his grandmothers, Rebecca Riley of Florida and Donna Shaffer of Masontown; two brothers, Kris Nicholson and wife Michelle of Gladesville and Ira Shaffer of Masontown; three sisters, Amanda Bucklew and husband Clayton of Independence, Christy Shaffer and Donella Shaffer of Masontown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ernest Born and Melvin Shaffer; great grandparents, Ruby and Sam Ash and Ralph and Geraldine Turner; uncle, Cedric Shaffer and aunt, Sheila Shaffer. To honor Fredrick's wishes there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Field Funeral Home in Masontown is handling arrangements.
