Obituary of Juanita Hartshorn

Juanita Marie Hartshorn, 92, of Kingwood, formerly of Richwood, WV , finished her race and won the prize on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Pineridge Nursing Home. Juanita was born in Belleville, WV on February 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles Preston and the late Lydia (Starr) Webb. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a founding and active member of the Richwood Church of God for many years. She worked as an operating room scrub nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital. Juanita is survived by three sons, Ron and wife Lynn Hartshorn of Augusta, GA, Fred Hartshorn of Morgantown, WV, and Dan and wife DeAnn Hartshorn of Kingwood, WV; 14 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Hubert Hartshorn; son, Daniel Hartshorn and daughter, Cathie Blake. A Celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in Richwood, WV.
