Obituary of Linda Soccorsi

Linda C. Soccorsi, 64, of Masontown, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at her home. Linda was born in Arthurdale on July 30, 1950, a daughter of the late Byron Glenn Ervin Sr. and Betty Jane (Martin) Ervin. She was a loving mother, wife and sister. She graduated from Newburg High School in 1968 and worked for many years at Soccorsi's Laundromat and store in Masontown. Linda is survived by Dude Soccorsi of Masontown, two sisters, Jo DeSantis and companion Van Born of Reedsville, Nancy Trickett and husband Bruce of Gladesville, three brothers; Byron Ervin and wife Margie of Independence, Robert Ervin of KY and Denny Ervin of Mt. Olive, WV; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her son Troy Soccorsi and two sisters, Judie Harrison and Susie Ervin. Linda's wishes were to be cremated with no public services. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Care Corporation and the many others that helped with her care.
