Obituary of Sharon Lockerbie
Sharon Marie Lockerbie, 61, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born in Morgantown on December 28, 1953, a daughter of Donna (Spangler) Rehe of Masontown and the late Harold Rehe.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. She owned Lockerbie Trucking Company with her husband and enjoyed traveling the country. She also enjoyed spending some of her time gambling.
She is survived by her loving husband, Oscar Lockerbie; two daughters, Kendra Born and Tiffany Mercure and husband Matthew; two sons, Eric and Derek Born all of Independence; one grandson, Dustin Varner; four sisters, Pam Friend and husband Jim of Masontown, Karen Brewer and husband Jack of Reedsville, Diana Rehe of Masontown and Debbie Haney and husband Jim of OH and one brother, Harold Rehe, Jr. of Masontown.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by one son, Jason Born.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating. Interment will follow at the Gladesville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations in Sharon's memory to The Foundation of Mon General Hospital, 1200 JD Anderson Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.
