Obituary of Karen Smith

Karen Bonita Smith, 63, of Reedsville, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family and beloved cats. She was born on September 27, 1951 a daughter of the late Ruby "June" (McMurdough) and Perry "Gene" Rager. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid gardener and loved her cats. Karen is survived by her husband, Vern J. Smith; five children, Cristal Christopher of Arthurdale, Carole Hardesty of Fellowsville, Amanda Friend and husband Adam of Bretz, Casey Blosser of Masontown and Eric Blosser of Point Marion, PA; two step children, Jimmy Le Smith of Morgantown and Danielle Moore and husband Chris of Charleston; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one great grandson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service time with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating.
