Obituary of Kevin Gibson

Kevin Leroy Gibson, 59, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. He was born in Waynesburg, PA on February 9, 1956, a son of the late Anna Marie Kmetz and Delmar Gibson of Masontown. Kevin worked for the city of Masontown and Greer Limestone for a short period of time. In addition to his father he is survived by his companion of many years, Sheila Hayes; a sister, Emma Jean Nixon of Morgantown; two brothers, Patrick J. Gibson of Masontown and Delmer Gibson Jr. of NC; a step brother, Michael Kmetz of PA; step-mother, Bernice Gibson and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Kay Gibson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Funk officiating. Interment will follow at the Masontown Cemetery .
