Obituary of Doris Stalnaker

Doris June Stalnaker, 75, of Masontown, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on October 26, 1939 in Montana Mines, WV a daughter of the late Nellie and Raymond Clayton. June traveled and lived in many different states due to her husband Frank's job. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, taking care of her many dogs, shopping and I Love Lucy. Doris (June to her family and friends) is survived by three daughters, Vicki Stalnaker of Liberty, Mississippi, Terri Onorato and husband Fred of Delta, Pennsylvania and Melissa Williams and husband Dee and their daughter Jennifer of Lutz, Florida; two sisters, Betty Jo Tenney and husband Frank and Diana Gibson and husband Harold all of Masontown, WV; one brother, Michael Clayton and wife Diane and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Stalnaker to whom she married March 23, 1956. To honor June's wishes cremation services will be provided. In the spring of 2015 when it is warm and the flowers and trees are blooming her and her husband Frank's ashes will be buried. The family would like to extended their gratitude to WVU Healthcare Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. The family has entrusted Field Funeral Home in Masontown with her arrangements.
