Obituary of Sara Dalton

Sara Jane Dalton, 75, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at her home. She was born in Pisgah on November 27, 1939 a daughter of the late Effie L. (Golden) and James H. Everly. She was a homemaker and took good care of her family. She was a member of the H.O.P.E Church in Morgantown. Sara worked at Dogs and Suds in Morgantown for several years. Sara is survived by her loving daughter, Marcye Dalton of Masontown; sister, Jeanne Ryan of Gibbon Glade, PA and sister and best friend, Sandra Williams of Uniontown, PA; two brothers, Charles S. "Steven" Everly of IA and Gary "Sonny" Everly of Springfield, WV; her brothers and sisters in-law; Betty Everly of Smithfield, PA, Thomas and Janet Dalton of Morgantown, Beverly Dalton of Arthurdale, David and Ronda Dalton of Morgantown; a very special nephew, Clifford James "Jimmy" Ford; several other nieces and nephews and grand furbaby, Jasper. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Roger Paul Dalton; a sister, Delores "June" Ford; a brother, James H."Jimmy" Everly Jr., three brothers-in-law, Richard Dalton, Samuel Ford and Clifford Ryan; two sisters-in-law, Mary Rose Currance and Virginia Everly and her mother and father in-law, Thomas Carl "Bud" and Maxine Dalton. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. and Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 1p.m. until the 2 p.m. service time with Reverends M.A. Donham and Joseph L.
