Obituary of Thomas Thorne

Thomas "Tommy" Ray Thorne, 33, of Masontown, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014. Thomas was born in Morgantown on April 3, 1981, a son of Kathy (Taylor) Cosner, of Accident, MD and Dennis Thorne of Morgantown. He is survived by a brother, Travis Stalnaker and wife Alex of Plymouth, NC.; his grandmothers, Delores Taylor of Reedsville with whom he made his home and Rita Thorne of Masontown; step father Gordy Stalnaker of Weston; two uncles, Dean Thorne of Masontown and John Taylor of Masontown and one aunt, Cindy Taylor of Masontown. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie Taylor and Donald Thorne. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Reedsville. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in his memory to Field Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
