Obituary of Betty Newlon

Betty Lou Newlon, 79, of Grafton, WV, passed away Friday, September 12th, 2014 surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Lewis Co. on January 31, 1935, a daughter of the late Lettie (Sprouse) and Thad Pumphrey. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty enjoyed western movies, wrestling, Chuck Norris movies and reading. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and family. Betty is survived by two daughters, Janice and Kathy; four sons, David, John , Carl "Jr." and Roy; five brothers; seven sisters; twenty grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and counting and her special friends, Ruby, Delores and Sara. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. with John Marshall officiating.
