Obituary of Darl Long

Darl Leo Long, 80, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Dry Fork, WV on May 28, 1933, a son of the late Tina Marie (Arbagast) and Walter Long. Darl served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Long; one step son, Edward Noble; one sister, Patty Tracy and a brother, Denny Long. He was preceded in death by four sisters; Dorothy Dulley, Debra Fox, Tony York, and Shirley Long and a brother, Roger Long. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
