Obituary of William Sterling

William Arthur Sterling, 74, of Kingwood, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. William was born in Preston County on December 26, 1939, a son of the late Mary (Louk) and Willard Sterling. He is survived by three daughters, Betty Sterling of Kingwood, Della Dumire and husband George of Kingwood, and Melissa Myers and husband Donald of Martinsburg; two sons, Coy Sterling of Kingwood and William Arthur Sterling and wife Carolyn of Kingwood; two sisters, Betty Lou Chambers of Kingwood and May Burke of Glenville and 16 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014 with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Cremation services will follow.
