Obituary of Louise Polce

Louise "Nonnie" Elizabeth Polce, 84, of Masontown, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Pattersons Creek, WV on February 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Anna (Chaney) and Ralph Long. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Louise was a member of the St. Zita Catholic Church. She worked many years as a bookkeeper. Louise is survived by two daughters, Samantha Baldwin and husband Larry of Grafton and Donna Cassell of NC; two sons, Joe Polce and wife Karen of Reedsville with whom Louise resided with and Rocco Polce and wife Melissa Polce of Arthurdale;one stepson, Harold "Enk" Ennis and wife Sandra of Masontown; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Salvadore "Sammie" Polce; one sister, Marian Miller and two brothers, Donald Long and Richard Long. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, January 17, 2014 from 2-9 p.m. A prayer vigil will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Bufogle as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Masontown Cemetery. Donations may be made in Louise's memory to the St. Zita Altar Society. Condolences may be extended online to the family at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
