When Margie and the kids wanted to go camping at Fort Yargo State Park I would get all the camp gear together so they could go "camping/roughing it". The gear consisted of a six or eight person tent, several blankets and a large piece of old rug for use as cushioning against the ground, three or four sleeping bags, a few large throw pillows,a small TV, a fan (the site of course had to have electricity --and be near a rest room),a radio; next came plenty of bug spray. A 64 quart cooler lined with frozen water bottles to keep whatever was packed cold and provide drinking water later.
Once all was set up it was on to step two: make a run back to the house for another 48 or 64 quart cooler filled with lunch meats, cheese, eggs, bacon hot dogs, buns, etc and some juice or sodas for the kids and some "adult beverages--beer" for M and her friend Ann. Load up the Coleman gas stove and deliver it all to the "camp" site. Since this was long before *bucks a coffee pot and grounds were also included. "Camping" might last for a few days or a few weeks depending on the weather, but they always had a great time.

I never met Marjorie Weatherwax, but each day I would hear Tim call and say he was on his way home. Tim would always ask he she needed anything. I have always found that endearing and I knew Tim was happy to make that call each day. I give the Weatherwax family my condolences and deepest sympathy. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Weatherwax for allowing me a glimpse of your life of love and commitment.
God Bless,

My family was neighbors of the Weatherwax family for over 20 years. It was always obvious how much Margie loved and adored her children. I remember her roller skating up and down the street and playing in the rain with Heather and Sean when they were little. I remember her dressing up for Halloween and having a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. Tim and Margie had several bird feeders which created a bird sanctuary in their back yard. Margie liked sitting on her back deck during the summer and those were the times I would visit with her to catch up on what her kids were doing. She was always so proud of them. For a time, Margie and I met at 6am at the corner of Sundale and Summerville Drive to take a power walk. She even got us rain ponchos so we had no excuses not to walk.
She was a lot of fun and very kind and I'm so glad she was my neighbor.

We were neighbors of the Weatherwax family for over 20 years. It was obvious how much Margie loved and adored her children. I remember her roller skating up and down the street and playing in the rain with Heather and Sean. I remember her dressing up for Halloween and that she always had a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. She and Tim put out several bird feeders and literally made a bird sanctuary in their back yard. For awhile, Margie and I met at 6am at the corner of Sundale and Summerville Drive to power walk. She even got us rain slickers so we had no excuses not to walk. Margie enjoyed sitting outside on her deck during the summer. Every once in a while, I would walk over to chat and catch up on what her kids were doing. She was always so proud of them and so happy to share what was going on in their lives. She was a good neighbor and I am so glad I knew her.

My Sweet Friend, I might be getting a little older, but I will never forget the wonderful events of our growing up and so so many wonderful memories we made together along with Betty Shaw-Cartwright. The emotions of teenage girls and the three Amigos we were. I will always cherish gym class, Home ec, English.. Most of all, the private conversations we shared. There is not a doubt in my mind that we will share more one day and I will be looking forward to laughing and reminiscing once again. God Love and keep you safe now.
