Obituary of Dorsey Mitter

Dorsey Harvella Mitter, 53, of Masontown, has left this world on November 25, 2013, to join her parents, Arthur McCay and Wanda Blanche (Cress) Cobb, on the river banks of heaven. Dorsey was born in Kingwood on February 6, 1960. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Dorsey worked for seven years at Mountain Streams & Trails rafting company before going back to school to receive her CNA license. She then worked at the Madison Rehab Center for a year, followed by working at Ruby Memorial Hospital for 15 years. Dorsey is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene "Joker" Mitter; a daughter, Christina Nicole Mitter; two sons, Jeremy Mitter and Brandon Mitter and wife Christina Jane; a brother Arthur Allen Cobb of Masontown; two sisters, Elsie Martin of Masontown and Jerri Lynn Mitter of Tunnelton and two step-brothers, Paul Bolyard of Tunnelton and Audis (Ben) Bolyard of Masontown. Dorsey also leaves behind her loyal companions, two lovable dogs, Mounti and Bailey. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 4pm-8pm and Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 4pm-8pm. Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Masontown on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 1 pm with Robert Bolyard officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
