Hubert LaMar Obituary
Hubert "Junior" LaMar, 73, of Grafton, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home with family and friends by his side.
He was born April 1, 1940 in Preston County, a son of the late Hubert and Hazel LaMar.
Hubert lived a great life. He enjoyed camping, fishing, word finds, jig-saw puzzles and country music. He was a proud member of AA. He was employed at Ashco Precast for 20 years.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia LaMar; a brother, Darrell LaMar, whom he resided with; two sisters-in-law, Virginia (Cookie) LaMar, of Masontown and Nellie LaMar, of Morgantown; a special niece, Sara LaMar and several nieces and nephews.
Hubert was preceded in death by two brothers, James LaMar Sr. and Arthur LaMar; two sisters, Rita LaMar and Betty Miller; two nephews, James LaMar Jr. and Kevin Doman; two nieces, Veronica Daft and Marie Burrows and his companion of 39 years, Atha Goff.
Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 3 pm to 9 pm. Services will be held at the Field Funeral Home on Monday , July 29, 2013 at 1 pm with Pastor Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
