Theodore Harley Holmes, 69, of Baltimore, MD, formerly of  Masontown, WV, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Baltimore.

He was born in Arthurdale on January 9, 1944, son of the late Theodore and Edith Goff Holmes.

Theodore was a loving husband and father. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Maryellyn (Martin) Holmes; two daughters, Michelle Lea Holmes and Meredith Lynn Holmes; a brother, James Holmes; an aunt, Iris Feather; two nieces, Roxanne Beatty  and Rosalynn Benson and two nephews, Timothy Holmes and Jeffery Holmes.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV, Friday, June 14, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 9 until the 10 am service time. Burial will follow at the Gladesville Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Preston County VFW Honor Guard and the Preston County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 977.
