She was born on April 18, 1926, a daughter of the late Amandus and Leona Nicholson Blosser. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening. She is survived by three daughters and spouses, Judy Carmichael and husband Thomas, Rancho Cucamongo, CA, Diana Newsome and husband Gerald, Reedsville, WV and Kim Molisee and husband Matthew, Reedsville, WV; three sons and spouses, Larry Cartwright and wife Betty, Reedsville, WV, Roger Cartwright and wife Patty, Dunnellon, FL and Robert Cartwright and wife Ida, Reedsville, WV; two sisters and spouse, Ruth and Robert Burns, Garrettsville, OH and Evelyn White, Morgantown, WV; one brother and spouse, Arlin and Evelyn Blosser, Bretz, WV; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin “Cutty” Cartwright; one son, Timothy Dean Cartwright; one grandson, Michael Newsome; eight brothers, Edward Blosser, Jimmy Blosser, Robert Blosser, Jerry Blosser, Richard Blosser, Donald Blosser, Albert Blosser and Ronald Blosser. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Derek Syruws officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, WV. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all who helped with her care during their time of need.
