Obituary of Vivian Thomas

Vivian Thomas, 76, of Bretz, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Hospice Care Inpatient Unit in Elkins. Vivian was born in Grant Town on December 19, 1936 a daughter of the late Octavia Ann Hyer Gillispie and Wade Wesley Gillispie. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Toothman and husband Carl of Rivesville and LaVerna Thomas of Reedsville; five sons, Rusty Thomas and wife Rhonda of New Martinsville, Brian Thomas and wife Candy of Bretz, Wayne Thomas of Reedsville, Jasper Thomas and wife Tanya of Bretz and Dennie Thomas of New Martinsville; grandchildren, Jeremiah Toothman, Amanda Toothman, Kyle Toothman, Joshua Thomas, Rusty Thomas Jr., Kristi Thomas, Heather Cricks, Jeffery Cricks, Matthew Thomas, Michelle Thomas, Dennie Thomas II, and Harry Thomas III; step grandson, Robert Doman; numerous great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren, McCala Doman and Robbie Doman; one brother, Ernest Lee Gillispie and wife Zola; and one sister, Elizabeth Rebecca Gillispie Reed of Smith Grove KY. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Harry Thomas and two sons, Harry "Jakie" Thomas and Christopher Thomas. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 3p.m. until the 8 p.m. service time with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Cremation services will follow.
