Obituary of Ernest Taylor

Ernest Jacob "Jake" Taylor, 79, of Masontown, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Masontown on July 20, 1933, a son of the late Eva Delana (McKinney) and Oincel Baumgardner Taylor. Jake loved to work outdoors, mowing his grass and tending to his flowers. He worked for the McMillen Dairy farm, JENNMAR, WV Department of Highways, Masontown Water Co. and in the construction industry and Hospice Care Corp for the past 24 years. Jake is survived by his two sisters; Ruby E. Hatcher of Masontown and Rosalie V. Taylor of Kingwood. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Daisy Lambert, and Grace Taylor, three brothers; Laurence Taylor, Paul Taylor, Glenn Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 3-8pm. Services will be held at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11 am with Rev.
