Obituary of Deloris Taylor-Gregory

Deloris Jean "Dee" Taylor-Gregory, 63, of Bretz, WV, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Cascade, WV on May 18, 1949 a daughter of the late Rosa (Denkenberger) and James A. Taylor. Dee was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked at Mon Pointe, Valley Health Care, Peerless Laundry, Hospice and was a caretaker for many people. Dee loved crafts and owned and operated Dee's Ceramics. Her hobby was The What Not Shop in Masontown. Dee enjoyed her family and friends and lived her life to the fullest. She is survived by her companion William "Bill" Lamb of Bretz; three daughters; Tina Shaffer and husband David of Masontown, Roxanne Miller and husband Joe of Tunnelton, and Angela Nelson of Bretz, three sons; Andy Jackson and wife Brenda of PA, Mark Jackson and fiancée Bonnie Medved of Morgantown, Sam Nelson and wife Kim of Albright; two granddaughters she raised, Sierra Nelson and Teckelya Nelson; a sister, Doris Ann Blosser and husband Ronnie of Morgantown; two brothers, Dave Taylor and wife Sandra of Morgantown and Harold Taylor of Morgantown; 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and her beloved dog, Bennie. Dee is preceded in death by three brothers; James "June" Taylor, Orin Joseph Taylor and Harry Lee Taylor and one granddaughter, Kelsey Lynn Hardy Nelson. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from noon until the 1 pm service time with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Field Funeral Home.
