Obituary of Edwinna McCullough
Edwinna M. McCullough, 95, of Wolfe City, TX, formally of Reedsville, WV passed away January 5, 2013 at the Smith Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wolfe City, TX.
She was born February 21, 1916, a daughter of the late Kasper Henry Born and Bessie Agnus Overfield.
She was a 1934 graduate of Masontown High School. She and her husband lived in Niagara Falls, NY and later Salem, WV. In Salem she operated a gas station with her husband and later ran the Salem City Cash Market. She was a donor for the stadium lighting at the Masontown High School football field. She was active in politics and considered herself a strong Democrat.
She is survived by one son, Morton McCullough; two daughters, Priscilla Julian and Reah McCullough; a brother, Tom Borne and two sisters, Bessie Wilson and Zelma Farley; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morton S. McCullough and one son, Dare Born.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Bluemont Cemetery in Grafton.
Field Funeral Home in Masontown is in charge of the local arrangements.
