Obituary of Wanda Calvert

Wanda Calvert, 77, of Masontown, WV passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her residence. Wanda was born in Washington, DC on November 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Isa B. Martin Pike and Earl Clark. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by 7 children; Robert Calvert and fiancée Mary Madden of Newburg, Frank Calvert and companion Genevieve Eagle of Kingwood, Gregory Calvert and wife Peggy of Moatsville, Karen Cummings and husband Gregory of Masontown, Mark Calvert and companion Rita Zerecheck of Reedsville, Carla Pell of Masontown and Brian Calvert and companion Monica Boardwine of Masontown; three sisters, Flora June Watkins, Darlene Carolyn Darby and Sheliah Martine Strawser; one brother, Ronald Floyd Pike; 13 grandchildren, Robert Calvert Jr., Ashley Johnson, Frank Calvert Jr., Christy Lott, Jennifer McCray, Christopher Calvert, Shannon Watkins, Stephanie Coffman, Steve Cummings, Andrew Cummings, Jeremiah Calvert, Clint Calvert and Jason Pell and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Robert Calvert Sr.; step father, Howard Richard Pike; three brothers, Robert Victor Pike, Donald Lloyd Pike and Kanawah Richard Pike; two sisters, Linda Lou Pike and Rebecca Anglie Stemple and one grandson, Justin Pell. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held at the Field Funeral Home Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3 pm with Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiating. Interment to follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
