Obituary of John Znoy II

John Paul Znoy, II, age 20, of Masontown, WV, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2009 at at his home due to complications from an accident. He fought a courageous battle. He was born July 8, 1988 in Morgantown, WV, the son of John Paul Znoy of Dellslow, WV and Jessie M. Costello Znoy Jones of Masontown, WV. He was employed by Whitetail Mines as a coal miner. He loved to ski and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a true friend and loved his family very much and was devoted to his sisters. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Ashley N. Znoy of Masontown, WV and Sara J. Jones, of Newburg, WV; paternal grandmother, Doris Znoy of Cheat Lake; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Lucille Costello of Masontown, a loving aunt, Juanita and spouse Keith Farley and paternal aunt, Michelle Znoy Rapalski and spouse Jan; paternal uncle, Joseph Znoy Jr; and four cousins, Keith Farley II, Tyler Farley, David Rapalski, and Laura Rapalski. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Joseph M. Znoy, MD, and great grandparents, Charles and Olive Blosser, and Frederick and Mildred Costello. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Mill Chapel United Brethern Church in Reedsville with the Rev. Marshall Woods officiating. Cremation services will follow.
