Notes: Terrance Raymond Burns Jr., 81, of Plum Hill Terrace, Masontown, formerly of Kingwood, died Monday January 22, 2007 at home.

He was born November 26, 1925 in Wheatland, PA, a son of the late Terrance Raymond and Ethel Burns Sr.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 16 years and was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post 1589 in Masontown and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1857 in Kingwood.

He is survived by one sister and husband; Florence and Michael Stassinis of Warren, OH; seven nieces and nephews and friends, Stacey and Paul Koontz of Masontown, and Tom and Vanette Broadstock.

He was preceded in death by his long time companion Kate Nestor, and a sister and brother in law, Dorothy B. and Harvey A. Lott..

The Field Funeral Home in Masontown will provide cremation services.

A Military Graveside Service will be conducted by the Preston county VFW Honor Guard 2:30 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2007 at the sunset memorial Gardens in Kingwood.
