Obituary of Linda Willis

Linda L. Willis, 63, of Masontown, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. She was born in Kingwood on April 3, 1947, the daughter of the late John Willis and Gladys Rogers Willis, of Gladesville. She had attended the Cornerstone Church in Kingwood and the Kingwood Apostolic Church. Despite her courageous battle with Huntington’s Chorea, Linda never turned her back on God. She has finally gone to heaven to be with her beloved Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, David Eagle and spouse Heather of Morgantown; three daughters, Amanda Eagle and companion Craig Goldstrum of Reedsville, Diane Eagle and companion Glenn Terry of Masontown, and Shonna Eagle of Morgantown; five brothers, John Willis and spouse Louella, Alan Willis and spouse Dorothy, Tim Willis, Terry Willis and spouse Rita, Tom Willis and spouse Pam; three sisters, Susan Pratt, Cathy Savage and spouse Jeff, and Libby Durst; eleven grandchildren, Dominique, Tessa, Alexia, Cody, Azyln, Lakin, Peyton, Chloe, Sarah, Michael, and Emily. In additions to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant brother. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, February 17, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 and on Friday, February 18 from 10 am until the time of the 11 am service with Pastor Doyal Witt officiating.
