He was born on March 22, 1936 in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late Harvey and Loretta Nair Uphold. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers and doing small engine repairs. He is survived by one sister, Kathern Spangler of North Kingsville, Ohio; two brothers, Clarence Uphold of Morgantown, WV and Haymond Uphold of Reedsville, WV and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Uphold and one sister, Isabelle Birch. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 with the Rev.
