Obituary of Clara Brewer

Clara Goff Brewer, age 74, of Gladesville. WV passed away Friday December 12, 2008 at Morgantown after a long illness. She was born February 13, 1934 in Newburg, WV a daughter of the late Walter and Sylvia Goff. She was a wonderful and devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, housewife, and a good friend to all. She was a member of The Church of Christ in Gladesville, WV for a life time. She is survived by her husband Dean Brewer, to whom she would have been married to for 55 years on January 16, 2009, one son and spouse, Dean Jr. and Brenda Brewer of Fairmont, WV, two daughters Cathy and spouse Ricky Mouser of Gladesville, WV and Linda Kay Brewer of Gladesville; one brother and spouse, William and Margaret Goff of Newburg, WV; one sister Dorothy Friend of Oakland, MD; four grandchildren, Diana & spouse Randy Beegle, Elizabeth Mouser, Kelly & spouse Victor Fike, Timothy Brewer; one great grandchild, Kara Ellen Beegle, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Edward Goff and Walter Dale Goff, two sisters and spouses, Ethel and Donald McDaniel, Thelma and Ray Bolyard, father and mother in-law, Burrous and Beulah Brewer, and a brother-in-law, Leo Friend. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown, WV on Monday December 15, 2008 from 2-4 pm and 6 - 8 pm, and Tuesday from 11am until the 1pm service at The Church of Christ in Gladesville with Evangelist Moe Hafley of Paden City officiating. Interment will follow at the Gladesville Cemetery in Gladesville, WV. Clara was adored and loved by all of her wonderful caretakers.
