Obituary of Marjorie Taylor

Marjorie Sue “Susie” Taylor, 79, of Masontown, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at her home. She was born on January 25, 1932 in Reedsville, the daughter of the late Russell and Sina McCoy McKinney. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Masontown, where she was past president of the Women’s Missionary Society. She was retired from the Preston County Senior Center. She is survived three daughters, Gwendolyn Duckworth and husband Kevin of Kingwood, WV, Linda Stresky and husband Dave Bonnette of Terra Alta, WV, Phyllis L. Davis and husband James of Masontown, WV; two sons, Rex Taylor, Jr. and wife Susie of Lincolnton, NC and Rusty Taylor and wife Elaine of Morgantown, WV; twelve grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Debbie Crawford, Julie Mallow, Rex A Taylor, III, Josh Taylor, Emily O’Connor, Alicia Stresky, Sara Starcher, Lauren Duckworth, Aubrey Duckworth, Tyler Duckworth and Isa Marie Taylor; two great-grand children, Addison Starcher and Tobey Crawford, and was looking forward to two additional great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, Denver Goldsmith, Zach Goldsmith, Abe Goldsmith, Scott Bonnette and Chase Bonnette; and three sisters June Morel of Richmond, VA, Verda Jones and husband Ken of Richmond, VA and Connie Radabaugh and husband Paul of Masontown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Rex Albert Taylor. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home, Masontown, WV on Friday, April 15 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 and on Saturday, April 16 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 . Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Masontown on Sunday, April 17 with the Rev. Bill Winston officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Herring.
