Obituary of Beatrice Taylor

Beatrice Maxine Martin Taylor, 82, of Masontown, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Corinth, WV on May 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Oscar and Ada Virginia Bosley Martin. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Masontown VFW Post #1589 Ladies Auxilary. She operated the VFW Post in Masontown for many years, and loved to play bingo. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann and husband Robert "Bob" Stone of Masontown, Karen Sue Nice, and Doris Jean Ash both of Masontown; six sons; James Taylor and wife Anita of Kingwood, Lawrence Taylor Jr. and wife JoAnn of Kansas, Robert E. Taylor, John Taylor, David Brown and wife Pat all of Masontown, and William Martin and wife Jennifer of Reedsville; one sister, Dorothy White of Battle Creek, MI.; one brother, James Martin of Reedsville; and one half brother, John Henry of Masontown; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Lee Taylor; and three sisters, Jenny Hershman, Betty Ervin, and Iva Moore. Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Monday September 27, 2010 from 2 to 4 amd 6 to 8 p.m. The Masontown VFW Post # 1589 Ladies Auxilary will conduct a memorial service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday September 28, 2010 at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Argabrite officiating. Interment will follow at Gladesville Cemetery.
